San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila, is the oldest stone church in the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Baroque Churches of the Philippines. The current masonry church was completed in the early 1600s and has retained much of its original fabric and decoration.
The carved stone altar, ornate ceiling paintings and a collection of colonial-era religious objects displayed in the adjoining museum. The building survived several earthquakes and wartime destruction that affected other structures in Intramuros.
