Samiopoula is a small uninhabited islet off the southern shore of the island of Samos in the eastern Aegean Sea. It is compact and rocky with small beaches and shallow coastal waters.
The islet is visited mainly on short boat excursions from Samos for swimming, snorkeling and short walks to viewpoints; there are no permanent facilities on the islet. Shorelines include pebbly beaches and rocky coves with clear water.
Historically the islet has no permanent settlement and has been used intermittently by local fishers and day visitors from Samos. It remains unmanaged and largely natural in character.
Samiopoula lies a short boat ride from the southern coast of Samos in the North Aegean region, surrounded by open Aegean waters.
