Ruma is easiest to reach from Belgrade by train or bus; the town's railway and bus stations provide regular regional connections. Use Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport for international flights and continue by road or rail.

By Air

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG): Belgrade is the main airport serving Ruma, about 50-70 km away depending on route. From BEG take a taxi (~60-90 EUR, 40-60 minutes) or shuttle to Belgrade centre and then a regional bus or train to Ruma. Expect airport-to-city transfer shuttles around 300-700 RSD and taxis higher.

Novi Sad (by road): Novi Sad has no major international airport but is a nearby arrival point by rail/road; if flying into Belgrade you may continue by train or intercity bus to Ruma (see train/bus card).

By Train & Bus

Train: Ruma has a railway station (Ruma railway station) on the Belgrade-Šid line with regular regional trains to Belgrade and western Serbia. Journey times to Belgrade are commonly ~40-70 minutes; regional fares usually sit in the low hundreds of RSD (roughly 200-500 RSD depending on service).
