Rosablanche Mountain

Rosablanche is a summit in the Valais Alps of Switzerland with an elevation of about 3,336 metres. It is known locally as a prominent peak for alpine outings and ski touring in the region.

The mountain is a popular objective for ski tourers in winter and for hikers and mountaineers in summer, offering long ascents and alpine terrain. Routes provide glacier and snowfield travel on some aspects, with panoramic views from the summit across surrounding Valais peaks and valleys.

As a natural alpine peak, Rosablanche has no constructed history but has long been part of local alpine guiding and mountaineering activity; it features in regional route guides and maps used by climbers and ski tourers.

Located in the canton of Valais, Rosablanche stands above adjoining valleys of the Valais Alps and is accessible from valley villages and ski lifts in the broader Nendaz/Verbier area. It sits within a high-mountain environment typical of the Swiss Pennine Alps.
