How to Get to Romitan
Romitan is a short drive west of Bukhara city. Most visitors fly or take the train to Bukhara and then continue by taxi or local minibus for the short onward journey to Romitan.
Bukhara International Airport (BHK): Bukhara is the nearest airport for Romitan. From Bukhara airport the road trip to Romitan takes roughly 20-40 minutes by taxi or private car depending on exact drop‑off; taxi fares are short and inexpensive (set locally).
Navoi / Samarkand (regional): Other regional airports in Samarkand or Navoi are farther away; travellers bound for Romitan usually use Bukhara as their closest air hub.
Train: Bukhara is a major railway hub on Uzbekistan Railways; the Bukhara railway station offers good connections to Tashkent, Samarkand and other cities. From Bukhara station you can take a short taxi to Romitan - journey time ~20-40 minutes.
