The Roman Theatre of Emerita Augusta is an ancient Roman theatre located in Mérida, Extremadura, built in the late 1st century BCE when the city was founded as Emerita Augusta. It is one of the best-preserved Roman theatres on the Iberian Peninsula and remains an active cultural venue.

The monument features the characteristic semicircular seating and an elaborate stage building and is set within an archaeological ensemble that includes an amphitheatre and other Roman-era remains. The site is frequently visited for both its archaeological significance and its continued use for performances.

By car, Mérida is reached from regional roads and the A‑66/N‑630 corridor; once in Mérida follow signs to the historic centre and the archaeological site.
