How to Get to Rokycany
Rokycany is best reached via Prague's Václav Havel Airport (PRG) with onward rail or bus connections; Plzeň is the nearest larger rail hub for regional connections. The town has its own railway station (Rokycany) with frequent regional trains to Prague and Plzeň.
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG): From Prague Airport take bus 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín (about 20-25 min, single PID ticket ~32 CZK) then metro to Praha hlavní nádraží; from Praha hlavní nádraží catch regional trains (České dráhy) to Rokycany (see train card). Taxi from the airport to Rokycany is possible but expensive (roughly 1,500-2,500+ CZK, ~1-1.5 hr depending on traffic).
Plzeň (Plzeň hlavní nádraží): Plzeň is the nearest larger city by rail to Rokycany. You can reach Plzeň by regional flights (very limited) or by train from Prague; from Plzeň hlavní nádraží take a regional train toward Rokycany (journey ~20-40 min, see train fares below).
Train: Rokycany is served by Rokycany railway station (Rokycany). Regular regional and fast trains (České dráhy) run between Praha hlavní nádraží / Plzeň and Rokycany.
