Roker Park is a public park in the Roker area of Sunderland on England’s northeast coast, laid out in the Victorian period. It provides formal lawns, tree-lined walks and open recreation space close to the seafront and local residential areas.

The park has long been used for local leisure, events and seasonal recreation and sits within the coastal suburban landscape of Sunderland. It is distinct from the former Roker Park football stadium, which was a separate sporting ground used by Sunderland A.F.C.

It lies roughly 2 miles (a short drive) east of Sunderland city centre and is reached via coastal roads such as the A183; local bus services run from Sunderland Interchange to Roker (check local timetables). From Sunderland centre it’s also a pleasant 30-40 minute walk along the seafront into Roker.

• Approach the park from the sea promenade to combine a coastal walk with the park's gardens and bandstand; the promenade route gives the best long views toward Roker Pier and its lighthouse.
• If you're visiting at peak summer weekend times, use public transport into Sunderland and walk east along the seafront to avoid limited on‑street parking near the park.
