Rochers de Naye is a mountain above Montreux in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, with a summit at about 2,042 metres and expansive views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. It is a well-known local mountain accessible to day visitors.

The site is notable for panoramic viewpoints at the summit, an alpine botanical garden and a marmot enclosure where Alpine fauna are on display. The mountain is also used for hiking in summer and snow activities in winter on the higher slopes.

A rack railway runs from Montreux to the summit area, providing direct public access from the lakeshore to high-elevation viewpoints and facilities.

Rochers de Naye sits above the town of Montreux on the northern shore of Lake Geneva in Vaud, and the summit is a short ride by cog railway from the lakeside rail and boat connections.

• Alpine garden and marmot park: The Jardin Alpin and adjoining marmot enclosure host alpine plants and a small population of marmots that are a regular attraction for visitors and families.

Rochers de Naye is reached by the Montreux-Glion-Rochers-de-Naye cog railway from Montreux. Board the rack railway at Montreux station (lakeside) for the direct scenic ascent to the summit station; the train journey is the standard way to reach the peak.

Montreux is the nearest major rail hub - the cog railway station is a few minutes’ walk from Montreux main station and lakeside promenade. Driving up the mountain is possible but the cog railway is the usual recommended access.

• Take the Montreux-Glion-Rochers-de-Naye cog railway from Montreux; the earliest trains give you the best chance at clear views and quieter summit paths.
• Allow extra time at the summit for the Marmottes Paradis (marmot park) and the short walks along the ridge-many visitors rush the viewpoint and miss the marmot enclosure and alpine gardens.
• Avoid weekend midday arrivals during high season; if you can't go early, aim for later afternoon when day-trippers begin to leave and light for photography is often better.
