Riverbank State Park is a 28-acre state park on Manhattan’s west side in New York City, constructed on the roof of the North River Wastewater Treatment Plant. The park combines athletic, cultural and community facilities within an urban waterfront setting.

Facilities include athletic fields and courts, an indoor pool and ice rink, running tracks and cultural spaces used for classes and performances. The design integrates green space with buildings and rooftop landscaping.

Riverbank State Park is located at 145th Street on the Hudson River waterfront in upper Manhattan and is accessible from surrounding neighborhoods by local transit and street access.

• Aim for weekday mornings to use the park's athletic and pool facilities before weekend crowds arrive; the park fills up quickly on warm weekends.
• Enter at the 145th Street/Riverside side where most promenades, the top level track and riverwalk are easiest to reach; that approach gives quicker access to the park's terraces and views over the Hudson.
• Explore the upper levels and indoor recreation complex (pool and ice rink) if you want quieter spaces - many visitors stick to the riverfront esplanade and miss the indoor facilities.
