Reunion Arena was an indoor arena in downtown Dallas, Texas, adjacent to the Reunion Tower complex. It opened in 1980 and served as a major venue for sports, concerts and civic events for several decades.
Reunion Arena opened in 1980 and became home to local professional teams and touring entertainment for many years. After newer venues were built and event patterns shifted, Reunion Arena was closed and demolition followed in 2009.
The arena stood in downtown Dallas near the Trinity River and the landmark Reunion Tower, in the southern part of the central business district. The site has since been redeveloped following the arena’s removal.

How to Get to Reunion Arena #
The former Reunion Arena site is in downtown Dallas beside Reunion Tower and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Take DART light rail into downtown (West End or Convention Center stations) and walk about 5-15 minutes; by car approach via I‑30 into downtown and follow signs for Reunion/Convention Center.

- Reunion Arena was demolished in 2009, so there is no arena to visit at the listed site-do not expect an event venue there.
- If you're in the area, redirect your visit to nearby landmarks such as Reunion Tower and Pioneer Plaza (the cattle-drive sculptures) which occupy the adjacent Reunion district and offer photo opportunities and public space.
