The Reformation Wall is a monumental memorial in Geneva that commemorates leaders of the Protestant Reformation and Geneva’s role in that movement. It consists of sculpted figures and reliefs set into a long stone wall within an urban park.

From Genève-Cornavin (main train station) it is a 12-15 minute walk northwest through the Old Town, or take tram lines 12 or 15 to the Uni-Mail/Plainpalais stops and walk a few minutes. The park sits directly behind the University of Geneva main buildings.

• Visit at dawn or late afternoon light to catch the carved faces in relief rather than flat noon glare; the sun turns Calvin's cheek into a different man.
• Walk the rest of Parc des Bastions after the wall - the university buildings and the International Museum of the Reformation are adjacent and provide context.
• Look for the small plaques and inscriptions in French; they point to lesser-known figures in the Reformation movement that most guidebooks skip.
