The RCA Dome was a domed stadium in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, that opened in 1984 and was demolished in 2008. It served as the primary home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts for much of that period and hosted a variety of sporting and civic events.
The venue was notable for its enclosed bowl configuration and downtown location, and it accommodated professional football, college events and large conventions. After the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium, the RCA Dome was decommissioned and subsequently torn down.
Located adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center in central Indianapolis, the site was part of the city’s convention and sports complex until demolition.

The site is within easy walking distance of downtown hotels, the convention center and local IndyGo bus stops.
