Qianjiang is best reached via Chongqing (Jiangbei Airport) combined with rail or long-distance coach. The rail link provides a comfortable and reasonably fast connection from Chongqing; coaches and private transfers are alternatives if schedules demand.

By Air

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG): Chongqing’s main airport is the primary gateway for reaching Qianjiang. Ground travel by car or coach from Jiangbei to Qianjiang typically takes around 3.5-5 hours depending on route and traffic. Many visitors combine a flight to Chongqing with a rail or long-distance-bus leg to Qianjiang.

Wanzhou Wuqiao Airport (WXN) / regional airports: Depending on connections, some travellers use nearer regional airports (for example Wanzhou) and continue by road or rail - check flight schedules as services are limited compared with CKG and may increase travel complexity.

By Train & Bus

Train: Qianjiang (黔江) is served by conventional and high-speed rail links on lines connecting it with Chongqing and neighbouring provinces. Qianjiang Railway Station (or Qianjiang South on some high-speed services) handles intercity services; travel to central Chongqing by train generally takes around 2-3 hours on faster services, fares typically in the tens to low hundreds of RMB.
