The Pyramid of Senusret I is a Middle Kingdom royal pyramid constructed for the Twelfth Dynasty pharaoh Senusret I.
Originally the pyramid formed one element of a full mortuary complex including a mortuary temple and subsidiary structures; the superstructure is now largely ruined and archaeological remains are visible at the site.
The monument dates to the early Middle Kingdom, roughly the 20th century BC, and is part of the Lisht necropolis where other Twelfth Dynasty royal tombs are located.
The pyramid stands at Lisht, south of modern Cairo in the Memphite necropolis region of Lower Egypt.
