The Pyramid of Nyuserre Ini is an Old Kingdom royal pyramid at the Abusir necropolis in Giza Governorate, Egypt, built for the Fifth Dynasty pharaoh Nyuserre. The structure now survives largely as a ruined core within the wider Abusir cemetery.
Today the site consists of the degraded pyramid remains and traces of the associated mortuary complex that once included a temple and subsidiary buildings; archaeological work has exposed parts of the substructures and surrounding features. The monument is one element in a dense cluster of Fifth Dynasty monuments at Abusir.
Constructed during the Old Kingdom for Nyuserre Ini, the complex followed the standard royal funerary program of pyramid plus mortuary installations and was later robbed and reduced to its current ruinous state. Subsequent centuries saw reuse of stone and gradual decay until modern excavations documented the remains.
The pyramid stands in the Abusir necropolis on the west bank of the Nile, between the Giza plateau and the Saqqara burial grounds, within Giza Governorate.
