Puente de la Mujer is a pedestrian footbridge in the Puerto Madero district of Buenos Aires, Argentina, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and inaugurated in 2001. It spans a dock in the redeveloped waterfront district and is a local landmark of modern engineering.

The bridge is a single-leaf rotating structure that pivots to allow water traffic to pass; it links two sides of a dock in Puerto Madero and is used for pedestrian crossings. Its distinctive asymmetrical pylon and cable arrangement are characteristic of Calatrava’s structural style.

Commissioned as part of the urban renewal of Puerto Madero, the bridge was constructed to improve pedestrian access across docks while providing a visually striking piece of infrastructure. Since opening it has been an integral connector within the waterfront district.

Situated in the Puerto Madero neighbourhood on the eastern edge of central Buenos Aires, the bridge crosses one of the district’s docks and is a short walk from the central business and historic areas of the city.

• Approach on foot along the Puerto Madero promenades to get multiple camera angles (the bridge is a pedestrian structure) and to combine the visit with waterfront sculptures and dockside cafes.
• Watch for the bridge's opening for river traffic-the Calatrava-designed span is movable and seeing it rotate to allow boats offers an uncommon perspective visitors often miss.
