How to Get to Provadia
Provadia in Varna Province is easiest to reach via Varna Airport (VAR) followed by a regional train or bus to Provadia. The town is on a regional rail corridor and has regular bus services to Varna and inland towns.
Varna Airport (VAR): The nearest international airport to Provadia is Varna Airport (VAR) on the Black Sea coast. From Varna Airport you can reach Varna city centre by bus or taxi (20-30 minutes) and then continue by regional bus or train to Provadia; the total transfer from VAR to Provadia is roughly 45-75 minutes by road depending on connections.
Sofia Airport (SOF): For international flights with more frequency you may arrive at Sofia Airport (SOF) and continue overland by train or long-distance bus to Provadia - this is a much longer transfer (several hours) but possible if routing requires it.
Train: Provadia has a railway station on regional lines connecting Varna and inland Bulgarian towns. Trains from Varna to Provadia are regular and the journey is about 30-60 minutes depending on service; tickets are inexpensive and sold at stations.
