The square is served by multiple city buses and trolleybuses that stop in the Cathedral Square / Gedimino Avenue area; if driving, follow Gedimino prospektas to S. Daukanto a. and nearby paid parking.

- Visit early in the morning (shortly after opening) for the cleanest light on the palace façade and far fewer tour groups; the best viewpoint is Daukanto Square directly in front of the building.
