How to Get to Pragal
Pragal (Almada) is right across the Tagus from Lisbon and is best reached via Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport then Fertagus commuter rail or ferry + local bus. Fertagus provides a quick river crossing and a direct stop at Pragal station.
Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS): Lisbon Airport is the main international gateway to Pragal. From the airport take the metro (red line) to a central interchange, then transfer to trains or the ferry depending on your route; taxi from Lisbon Airport to Pragal takes around 20-30 minutes (≈€15-€25).
Faro / Porto alternatives: You can arrive via other Portuguese airports but Lisbon offers the most frequent and convenient public‑transport options to Pragal and Almada.
Train: The Fertagus commuter rail crosses the 25 de Abril Bridge and stops at Pragal station. Fertagus trains run between Lisbon (stations such as Roma-Areeiro or Entrecampos depending on service) and Pragal; the ride across the river is quick (10-20 min from Lisbon stations) and fares are modest (single tickets usually a few euros).
