How to Get to Pomorie
Pomorie is easily reached from Burgas Airport (BOJ) with short taxi or bus rides; Burgas is the local transport hub for rail and long-distance buses. Local buses and taxis cover the short transfer from Burgas to the resort town.
Burgas Airport (BOJ): Burgas is the main airport for reaching Pomorie and is only about 6-12 km away. From BOJ you can take a taxi (roughly 15-25 minutes, ~20-40 BGN depending on meter and traffic) or shared shuttle; Burgas city bus connections also run toward Pomorie.
Sofia Airport (SOF): Sofia is a larger alternative but much farther (about 3.5-4.5 hours by road). From Sofia you can take intercity buses or trains to Burgas and then a short hop to Pomorie.
Train: Burgas is the nearest major rail hub; trains to Burgas arrive at Burgas station and onward bus/taxi connections to Pomorie take about 15-25 minutes. Regional train services in the area are limited compared with bus options.
Bus/Coach: Regular minibuses and buses link Burgas bus station with Pomorie; the trip is short (20-30 minutes) and inexpensive (local fare typically a few BGN). Intercity coaches from Sofia and Varna also stop at Burgas from where you transfer to Pomorie.
