The Ping An Finance Centre is a supertall mixed-use skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, completed in 2017 and serving as a major financial and commercial hub. It rises to 599 metres and contains offices, retail space and supporting facilities across its floors.
The building’s most notable physical facts are its overall height of 599 metres and its 115 above-ground storeys; it dominates the Futian skyline and is a landmark within Shenzhen’s central business district. The tower includes a plaza and podium that link it to surrounding civic buildings and transport nodes.
Developed by Ping An Insurance Company, the tower was built to consolidate offices and commercial functions and to act as a landmark corporate headquarters. Construction and interior fit-outs were completed in the 2010s and the building has been occupied by corporate tenants since opening.
The tower sits in Futian District in central Shenzhen, adjacent to the civic centre and major metro lines, within walking distance of Shenzhen’s commercial core and government buildings.
