Petite Mustique Island

Petite Mustique is a small islet near Mustique in the Grenadines parish of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is part of the cluster of privately owned and sparsely inhabited islands in the Grenadines.

The islet features coastal beaches and marine habitat used for short boat trips, swimming and snorkeling from nearby islands. There are few if any permanent public facilities on the islet itself.

It has remained a minor feature within the Grenadines without major independent development beyond occasional private use. Local boat operators and residents of neighbouring islands make use of its shoreline and surrounding waters.

Petite Mustique lies off the coast of Mustique within the Grenadines archipelago and is reached by private watercraft from nearby islands.

• Access: Typically accessed by private boat transfers from Mustique, Canouan or mainland Saint Vincent; infrastructure is minimal.

Reaches are by private boat from Mustique or nearby Grenadine islands. Coordinate via local charter operators or the Mustique harbour for a short transfer.

• If coming from Mustique, ask for permission if a private jetty or mooring is used - parts of the area are private.
• The channel between Mustique and Petite Mustique can have strong currents; use an experienced skipper.
• Photographers should time visits for early morning or late afternoon to avoid the harsh midday sun on the pale sands.
