How to Get to Pereiaslav
Pereiaslav is most easily reached from Kyiv by road. Visitors typically take a bus or marshrutka from Kyiv's bus stations, or drive from Kyiv for a short day trip to the historic town.
Boryspil International Airport (KBP): Kyiv’s main international airport is the typical arrival point for travellers heading to Pereiaslav (Pereiaslav‑Khmelnytskyi). From Kyiv, Pereiaslav is reached by road in about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic; transfer options include shuttle buses, private taxi or car hire.
Kyiv (Zhuliany/IEV): For some domestic flights and lower‑cost carriers, IEV is another Kyiv option; onward travel to Pereiaslav is by road - similar times and options as from Boryspil.
Train: There is no direct long‑distance train service into the centre of Pereiaslav; travellers commonly use Kyiv’s rail and then transfer by bus or marshrutka to Pereiaslav.
