Paris Mountain State Park is a state park in northern Greenville County, South Carolina, established as a protected recreation area in the 1930s. It preserves a wooded ridge and associated small lakes within a short drive of Greenville.
The park contains forested hiking and mountain-biking trails, picnic shelters, and several small lakes and ponds for passive recreation. Trails vary in difficulty and length and are used year-round for walking, trail running, and cycling.
The site was developed as a state park during the 1930s with substantial work by the Civilian Conservation Corps; facilities and trail networks date from that period and have been maintained and adapted since. Management has focused on balancing day-use recreation with conservation of the park’s watershed and forest.
The park sits on a wooded ridge roughly 8 miles (13 km) north of downtown Greenville, South Carolina, within Greenville County and accessible via county roads from the Greenville metropolitan area.
