Buses depart from Asunción’s principal bus stations toward Paraguarí and other departmental towns; journey time is about 45-75 minutes depending on service and traffic. Fares are modest - typically in the low tens of thousands of PYG (often under 20,000 PYG) - and tickets are bought at the terminal or on board for some routes.
