Nightlife in Palanga #

Palanga has the liveliest nightlife among these towns, especially in summer when Basanavičiaus Street fills with bars, live acts and seasonal clubs. Many venues operate outdoors and stay open late during the high season. Off-season evenings are much quieter, with most nightlife reduced to restaurants and hotel bars.

Shopping in Palanga #

Palanga is a beach-resort shopping spot: Basanavičiaus Street and the area near the pier are full of souvenir stalls, amber shops, beachwear boutiques and ice-cream kiosks. Look for amber jewellery and summer apparel. Outside of the tourist core you’ll find a few supermarkets and local shops; for larger malls and broader selection, Klaipėda is the nearest city option.
