Ozurgeti is best reached by road - regular marshrutkas and intercity buses connect it with Batumi, Poti and Kutaisi, while direct scheduled air service is not available. Train access is limited, so plan to arrive by bus or car from the nearest airports.
Batumi International Airport (BUS): Batumi is the closest major commercial airport on the Black Sea coast for parts of Guria. From Batumi, intercity buses and shared taxis (marshrutkas) run toward Ozurgeti; road travel time is about 1-1.5 hours.
