Kolkheti National Park National Park

Kolkheti National Park is a protected area on Georgia’s Black Sea coast that conserves lowland wetlands and coastal plains of the Kolkheti (Colchis) region. The park preserves reedbeds, peatlands and forested marshes characteristic of the Colchis lowlands.

The park is notable for its role in protecting migratory bird habitat and for conserving relict flora of the humid subtropical lowlands. Visitors typically come for birdwatching, guided nature walks and study of wetland ecosystems.
