How to Get to Oumé#
Oumé is reached mainly by road from Abidjan or regional towns. The nearest international airport for most visitors is Abidjan (ABJ); onward travel is by bus, coach or private vehicle to Oumé.
Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ): Abidjan is the main international gateway for Ivory Coast; from Abidjan you travel overland to Oumé by bus or private car (several hours depending on route). Domestic connections to nearer regional airports are limited.
Yamoussoukro / regional fields: Yamoussoukro is the regional administrative centre with road links to Oumé; most international visitors still arrive via Abidjan and continue by road.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service directly serving Oumé; rail is not a practical option for most travellers.
