Nof HaGalil (Nazareth area) is served mainly by regional buses; major air arrivals are at Ben Gurion with onward rail/bus connections via Haifa or Karmiel. There’s no direct national rail station inside the city, so plan bus or taxi transfers from nearby rail hubs.

By Air

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): The main international arrival point. From TLV expect around 1.5-2 hours by car to Nof HaGalil (Nazareth area); taxis cost several hundred ILS. Alternatively take Israel Railways to Haifa or nearby stations and continue by bus/taxi.

Haifa Airport (HFA): Closest by distance but with limited services; driving to Nof HaGalil takes roughly 40-60 minutes depending on route and traffic.

By Train & Bus

Train: Nof HaGalil (Nazareth-Illit) does not have a major long-distance rail station; the closest main rail hub is Karmiel or Haifa. Use Israel Railways to Haifa or Karmiel then transfer by bus or taxi to Nof HaGalil.

Bus: Egged operates frequent buses to Nof HaGalil/Nazareth from Haifa, Afula and other regional centers. Bus travel times vary (30-90 minutes depending on origin) and fares are typically in the low tens of ILS.
