Aïr Mountains and Azawagh Basin (Agadez, Iferouane)

October offers a marked drop in temperature swings - pleasant daytime warmth and cool nights - making it one of the best months for extended exploration of canyon systems and plateaus. The dusty season has not fully returned, so visibility is high and trail conditions are stable. For accommodation, lodges in Agadez and Iferouane are active again and village markets bustle with post-monsoon produce.
