How to Get to Nanos (plateau) #
The Nanos plateau in the Vipava area of Slovenia is reached by road from the surrounding towns; common access is from Razdrto/Podnanos or Predmeja. From Ljubljana it is roughly 60-80 km southwest (about a one‑hour drive) via the A1 motorway toward Postojna and then by regional roads to Razdrto/Predmeja, where parking and trailheads provide access for hiking onto the plateau. Final access onto the plateau is on foot via marked trails.
