About Musée Hergé#
Musée Hergé is the museum dedicated to the life and work of Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, known by his pen name Hergé, creator of Tintin. The museum opened in Louvain-la-Neuve in 2009 and presents Hergé’s career and artistic process.
Created as a purpose-built institution to preserve and present Hergé’s corpus, the museum was established in Louvain-la-Neuve with an architectural concept by Christian de Portzamparc. Since opening it has combined a permanent narrative display with rotating temporary exhibitions and publications.
The museum is in Louvain-la-Neuve in Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, approximately 30 km southeast of Brussels.
