Mount Mantalingajan is the highest mountain on the Philippine island of Palawan, rising to roughly 2,085 metres and forming the core of the Mantalingajan Mountain Range. It is recognized as an important conservation area for Palawan’s biodiversity.
The area is remote and visited mainly by experienced trekkers, researchers, and indigenous communities; routes are multi-day and cross rugged terrain. The mountain supports endemic species and intact forest habitats that have attracted conservation attention and scientific surveys.
Local indigenous groups maintain cultural ties to the mountain, and contemporary conservation programs work with communities to manage and protect the landscape. There is no large-scale tourist infrastructure on the mountain.

Mount Mantalingajan is in southern Palawan, Philippines. The usual access starts from Brooke’s Point or Rio Tuba; overland travel on unpaved roads and river crossings is common. Local guides and permissions from indigenous communities are required for many routes-coordinate with community offices or conservation NGOs in advance.
