Mount Lkest, locally known as Jebel Lkest, is a mountain in Morocco’s Souss-Massa region and part of the Anti-Atlas range. It is a prominent local landmark for the surrounding rural communities.
The mountain offers rugged, rocky terrain and panoramic viewpoints over the Anti-Atlas landscape; hiking routes of varying difficulty reach exposed ridges and summits. Trails are used by local walkers and shepherds rather than large guided-tour operations.
The peak is a natural feature of the Anti-Atlas rather than a constructed site; there is no single recorded builder or formal historical use. Local communities have long used the slopes for grazing and seasonal movement.
