Mount Homa

Mount Homa is a volcanic hill near the town of Homa Bay on the eastern shore of Lake Victoria in Kenya, and it is a locally prominent landmark in Homa Bay County. The hill rises directly from the lakeshore and is visible for many kilometres across the surrounding plain.

Trails and limestone cliffs lead to viewpoints over the Winam Gulf of Lake Victoria, and several caves and rock faces on the hill are of interest for short hikes and cultural visits. The mountain functions as a visual reference point for the lakeshore settlements and offers local scenic outlooks rather than large-scale alpine routes.
