Mor Hananyo Monastery, commonly called Deyrulzafaran or the Saffron Monastery, is a Syriac Orthodox monastic complex near the city of Mardin in southeastern Turkey. It is one of the principal historic monasteries of the Syriac Orthodox tradition and contains multiple churches, courtyards and monastic buildings.

The complex houses historic religious architecture and collections associated with Syriac Christianity, and it has been a focal point for ecclesiastical life in the region for many centuries. Visitors encounter stone-vaulted buildings, chapels and cloistered spaces that reflect successive building phases.

The monastery dates from late antiquity and developed over many centuries into a major religious centre; it served as the seat of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch from 1160 until 1932 and remained an important monastic community thereafter. It has experienced periods of renovation and change in response to political and social shifts in the region.

Mor Hananyo sits on a hillside near Mardin in Mardin Province, southeastern Turkey, within a landscape of limestone outcrops and terraced settlements. The complex is a short drive from the city and is prominent when approaching Mardin from surrounding plains.
