How to Get to Hasankeyf#
Hasankeyf is accessed mainly by road from regional airports in Batman or Diyarbakır. There is no direct rail connection, so airport + road transfer (bus/minibus/taxi) is the normal route.
Batman Airport (BAL): Batman Airport is the closest commercial airport to Hasankeyf, with flights from Istanbul and Ankara. From Batman city you continue by road (bus or taxi) toward Hasankeyf; the drive takes around 1-1.5 hours depending on route and border/road conditions.
Diyarbakır Airport (DIY): Diyarbakır is a larger regional airport with more frequent services; from Diyarbakır the onward road journey to Hasankeyf is longer (typically around 2-3 hours by car or bus).
Train: There is no direct passenger rail access to Hasankeyf; the nearest significant railhead is Diyarbakır or Batman, and onward travel is by road.
