Resegone sits immediately above the town of Lecco in Lombardy, forming a conspicuous skyline feature on the southern flank of the Alps and directly above the eastern arm of Lake Como.

• Climb early in summer to avoid afternoon thunderstorms that sweep up from the plain.
• The serrated skyline is best appreciated on the Lecco side at sunset when the ridge casts long, clean shadows over Lake Como.
