How to Get to Miramar District
Miramar is a district in Puntarenas Province best reached by road. Fly into San José (SJO) and continue by intercity bus or rental car; buses are inexpensive and frequent for many coastal routes.
Juan Santamaría International (SJO): San José’s main airport is the most common international arrival point for central Costa Rica. From SJO you can reach Puntarenas Province by bus or rental car; travel times to coastal districts vary but expect 1.5-3 hours depending on your final district.
