Millau is best reached by regional airports (Rodez, Montpellier) followed by a car, regional train or coach; Millau’s station and local bus network tie the town to the wider Occitanie region.
Rodez-Aveyron Airport (RDZ): The closest regional airport to Millau. By road, Rodez→Millau takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on route; rental cars and taxis are the usual onward options.
Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (MPL): A larger international airport serving southern France. By car Montpellier→Millau takes roughly 1h45-2h; there are also rail/coach options linking Montpellier and Millau via Béziers or Béziers-Béziers connections with differing durations.
Train: Millau has a station (Gare de Millau) served by regional TER trains linking to Béziers, Clermont-Ferrand and other regional centres; journey times and frequencies vary by route and season.
