Midtre Hellstugutinden is a mountain peak in the Hellstugutindane ridge of the Jotunheimen range in Innlandet county, Norway. It forms part of the high alpine landscape inside Jotunheimen National Park.
The summit lies on a rugged ridge used by experienced hikers and mountaineers for ridge traverses and scrambling routes. Routes typically require good mountain navigation and alpine footwear; snow can remain on north-facing sections late into summer.
The peak is a natural feature formed by mountain-building and glacial sculpting; it has no man-made construction of note and has been used only for alpine travel and recreation. The name associates it with the Hellstugutindane group of peaks in the same ridge.
The mountain sits in central southern Norway’s Jotunheimen massif within Innlandet county. The area is remote high country with other notable Jotunheimen peaks clustered nearby.
