How to Get to Meniko

Meniko is reached via Larnaca International Airport (LCA) or, less commonly, Paphos (PFO). There is no rail service in Cyprus, so most arrivals transfer by shuttle, bus or taxi into Nicosia and then use local buses or taxis to reach Meniko.

By Air

Larnaca International Airport (LCA): Kapnos Airport Shuttle runs between Larnaca Airport and Nicosia; expect about €8-€12 and roughly 40-50 minutes to reach central Nicosia. Taxis from LCA to the Nicosia area take about 25-35 minutes and typically cost around €30-€45 one-way; car rental desks are available at the terminal.

Paphos International Airport (PFO): Paphos is farther (around 1.5-2 hours to Nicosia). Intercity bus or shuttle services from Paphos to Nicosia take about 1.75-2 hours and cost in the low tens of euros (prices vary by operator); taxis or private transfers are considerably more expensive and slower due to distance.

By Train & Bus

Train: Cyprus has no national rail network; there are no train options to Meniko.

Bus: Meniko is served from Nicosia by local bus routes and shared taxis. From Nicosia bus station local buses or marshrutka-style shared services take roughly 15-30 minutes depending on route; expect fares of around €1.50-€3 for a short local trip. For arrivals from Larnaca or Paphos, intercity buses to Nicosia followed by a local bus or taxi to Meniko are the standard options.

Meniko is a small Cypriot village best explored on foot for short trips around the centre; distances are short.
