Larnaca International (LCA): Larnaca is the main international gateway for central and eastern Cyprus. From Larnaca you can reach the Nicosia area by bus or taxi (journey about 30-45 minutes to Nicosia); from Nicosia a short taxi ride will take you to Arediou.
Paphos International (PFO): Paphos is on the west coast and further away; expect a transfer of around 1.5-2 hours by car or a combination of intercity bus and taxi to reach Nicosia District villages like Arediou.

- Local bus (€1-€3) - Local municipal buses or village minibuses operate around Nicosia District and can connect you from Nicosia to nearby villages; frequencies are lower than intercity routes so check the timetable. Expect short journeys and low fares for village hops.
- Taxi / private transfer (€20-€45) - Taxis are the most convenient way to reach small villages like Arediou directly from Larnaca or Nicosia, especially with luggage or off-schedule arrivals. Agree the fare beforehand for longer intercity runs.
- Car hire (€25-€60/day) - Hiring a car is the easiest way to explore rural Cyprus on your own timetable; roads are generally good and parking in villages is straightforward. Fuel and occasional congestion in towns are the main added costs.
