Mayisad (Centre department) is accessed mainly by road from Port-au-Prince or nearby regional centres. Shared vans and buses are the primary transport; private hires are recommended for a more reliable and comfortable journey.

By Air

Toussaint Louverture International (PAP): Port-au-Prince is the primary international airport for Haiti. From PAP to Mayisad (in the Centre department) you should expect a substantial overland journey; domestic air services to regional hubs may be limited.

Cap-Haïtien (CAP) / Regional airports: Depending on which part of Centre department you need, other regional airports might be closer, but most travellers move overland from PAP or from the nearest regional centre by road.

By Train & Bus
