Manatuto is reached by road from Dili or Baucau; shared minibuses and private cars are the normal transport choices. Travel times are moderate and roads along the north coast are a common travel corridor.
Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport, Dili (DIL): Dili is the principal international airport for travel to Manatuto. From Dili you continue by road to reach Manatuto.
Baucau Airport (BCO): Baucau’s airfield is a secondary option for eastern and central access but most travel to Manatuto is by road from Dili or Baucau.
Train: There is no passenger rail service in Timor-Leste.
