By Air

Chennai International Airport (MAA): Chennai’s airport is the main international gateway for the city. To reach Manali (a neighbourhood in north Chennai) you can take a prepaid taxi from the airport (30-60 minutes depending on traffic) or combine the MRTS/metro and a short taxi/auto-rickshaw hop. Airport taxis to north Chennai typically cost about ₹600-1,200; the metro+last-mile option is considerably cheaper but takes longer.
