MAT Airways is a passenger airline based in North Macedonia. With North Macedonia’s air traffic centered on Skopje International Airport (SKP), most scheduled international travel in and out of the country is organized around Skopje as the main gateway.
Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport (OHD) is the other airport with scheduled commercial service, supporting air access to the Lake Ohrid area. North Macedonia also has domestic airports, but domestic flying plays a limited role compared with traveling overland, so airline travel is mainly about connecting through SKP or using OHD when there are scheduled services.
