There is no need for inter‑terminal transfers as all functions are contained in one building.

Most passengers leave Maafaru by resort‑arranged speedboat or seaplane; public transport options are nearly non‑existent. Typical transfer times to nearby resorts vary widely and depend on the operator and distance.

There are no public commercial hotels at Maafaru; the airport primarily serves nearby private resorts and islands. Nearly every arrival will be met by a resort representative and transfer to a private island or resort boat/seaplane.
